What to expect: • Learn punchy KPOP inspired routines packed with attitude and teamwork • Dress in bold, colourful costumes fit for a pop warrior • Enjoy playful stage makeup with glitter, shimmer and pops of colour • Build performance confidence while learning to dance with power and precision Throughout the 4 days dancers will rehearse a dynamic, high impact performance that showcases sharp choreography, character acting and serious stage energy. Parents are invited to the grand finale performance, where our Demon Hunters will present their full KPOP routine spectacular. Welcome to our Stranger Things Dance Summer School for ages 12 to 16. Inspired by the hit Stranger Things, this immersive 4 days blends powerful choreography, cinematic storytelling and a touch of Upside Down drama. Hosted by ex professional dancers and qualified teachers Donya Keys and Heather H …moreeyburn, this programme challenges dancers to push their performance quality, musicality and character work to the next level. Throughout the week students will: • Learn high impact routines inspired by the 80s soundtrack and atmospheric world of Hawkins • Explore contemporary, commercial and jazz fusion choreography • Develop character driven movement inspired by the show’s tension and friendships • Experiment with subtle, era inspired hair and makeup to enhance performance This is not about costumes alone. It is about commitment to character, control, and stage presence. Dancers will collaboratively build a cinematic performance piece that feels more like a live episode than a standard recital. Parents are invited to step into our own version of Hawkins for the end of the 4 day showcase. The final performance will bring together choreography, storytelling, music and atmosphere into one powerful presentation that feels bold, polished and unforgettable.
